I started my nursing career in the NICU and Emergency Room as a registered nurse. I absolutely loved working with preemies and thriving in a fast-paced environment. I attribute my gentle touch to my early years in neonatal care. While I always knew I wanted to pursue aesthetic medicine, I believe it's essential to gain core nursing experience in a hospital setting before specializing in private practice. The critical thinking skills I developed there are invaluable and continue to enhance my practice today. I progressed my career by becoming a doctorally prepared, board-certified nurse practitioner. I went on to practice in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine. My many years of experience in medicine have shaped the nurse practitioner I am today. The skills I have acquired over the years have proven invaluable in practicing aesthetic medicine. Aesthetic medicine is often seen as a practice of beauty, and while that is true in one sense, there is a strong scientific foundation behind it.
