What are dermal fillers ?

Dermal fillers are an injectable gel with a hyaluronic acid base, a substance which your body naturally produces. It contributes to the volume and elasticity of your skin, creating a young and fresh appearance. As we age, our skin’s ability to manufacture its own hyaluronic acid diminishes. When injected into fine lines, wrinkles, furrows, or sunken areas of the face, dermal fillers replenish the lost hyaluronic acid that’s been absorbed into your body over time. The result is a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance!
